DATA Privacy Law comes of age
The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect May 25, 2018, placing substantial new responsibilities on those companies and individuals that collect, store or use the personal data of EU citizens. Privacy is a fundamental human right in the EU. Penalties for violating the GDPR can be up to 4% of an organization’s annual revenue, a staggering increase over the prior EU Data Protection Directive. Here is a collection of valuable GDPR resources – video, text and audio text to speech (TTS).
Read the GDPR to me!
Here are audio recordings of the text of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) Articles 1 to 99. The longer articles were broken into sequential audio files. I hope you find this GDPR text to speech (TTS) project by Grant Barrett JD, CIPP helpful. Special thanks to Amazon Polly.
GDPR Resources – Video, Text and Audio Text to Speech (TTS).
This page contains resources for analyzing the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation and a collection of references for those who are considering a CIPP/E certification through IAPP.org. As the GDPR is new and, as yet, untested these materials will be updated as more specific or amended resources become available. The other pages on this website consider recent technological advances and regulatory issues surrounding consumer privacy, business cybersecurity, big data and artificial intelligence. Check back often as I will continue to add GDPR resources as they are captured in the wild!
